Prints - We always have wonderful antique English and French prints, most of them matted and framed, as well as horse and dog paintings as they become available. Our matted and framed vintage postcards - most pre WWI (many Tucks and similar cards)- are both decorative and reasonably priced.

Furniture - Country antiques are synonymous with rural New England, and that is what we offer at The Dog and Pony Show. New items will be shown on the web site as they become available.

Horse Brasses - The Dog and Pony Show is pleased to offer a wide selection of horse brasses and other harness decorations. These are fascinating and highly decorative items - many of them made during the Victorian era (1840-1902), which was the heyday for them as used objects for draft horses and stylish carriage horses. After that, brasses were primarily made as commemorative pieces, as souvenirs, and as prizes at agricultural shows. All are collectible, and value depends upon rarity and condition. Highly decorated harnesses are still used today, particularly in Britain, at agricultural fairs and competitions, and on state occasions. In addition to individual brasses, there are brass-decorated martingales and breastplates, hames plates, shoulder straps, nosebands, rump straps, and many other pieces. They are wonderful to decorate with - be it in the harness room or the living room!

Pottery & Porcelain - The horse and dog themes are also featured in our Staffordshire pieces, stoneware, chalkware and other ceramics. We try to find unusual and decorative pieces for our customers.

Pillows - We carry a large inventory of our pillows, and produce each print in limited quantities and a variety of sizes and trims. Feather and down inserts are used, although synthetics are available by special order. Only the best quality decorator fabrics and trims are used.

Other Antiques & Accessories - Here we offer not only items with a horse or dog theme, but a selection of country accessories including quilts and coverlets and a few oriental rugs (most newer rugs), among other things. We even have a super bamboo dog bed from the 1920s - the perfect gift for a pampered pooch.

Claire Murray™ Rugs - Claire Murray™ is well known for her wonderful hooked rug designs and accessories. We are delighted to be able to offer her delightful dog rugs in a variety of breeds - not only what is shown here, but also Beagles, Dalmations, Westies, Scotties, Black Labradors, Cavalier Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Parson Russells, Dachshunds, Bichon Frises, Greyhounds and Corgis.

Needlepoint belts, dog collars - These are sensational! Our designer/maker will consult with you about designs then create the belt to your specifications. The belts are particularly popular with horse show enthusiasts and dog fanciers, although there is no limit to the design possibilities!
